Gary, Chapparrels has done it AGAIN! I had seen the images you provided (via e-mail) of the Franchitti car, but they did not prepare me for what the car actually looked like, once I received it. The car is simply stunning!  I was completely struck by how freaking beautiful the finish is on this car.  Jim’s decals are awesome… even better than the one’s on the Audi F1 car!  You guys have REALLY stepped up your game on these cars. Gary, I think the thing that impresses me the most about the 2007 Nashville Dixon is the attention to detail in the cockpit. The belts and steering and all of the padding. Amazing. I now own 3 Chapparrels. These cars are the pride of my collection. This car was extremely difficult for Gary as he had to do extensive modifications to the rear cowling.  As always, Gary went to great lengths to make sure the car was properly stickered and actually found one that no one had used, the head restraint sticker. Gary, I received the Katherine Legge car yesterday. First I have to say that the pictures in no way prepared me for just how beautiful this car is! I first unpacked the front wing and was floored, after about 20 minutes of examining the intricate detail I had recovered enough to take the car out of the box.  At this point I was speechless, all the new parts you are now using are an exact match for the real car and the paint quality and finish are superior to the real thing. I see that again you have raised the bar on cockpit details which are to numerous to mention and that you are still pushing the envelope in the department of  replicating every detail of the body work down to the rivets, carbon fiber and aluminum at the rear of the side pods. Thanks again for your dedication to producing the finest most accurate Champ Car diecast available and I cant wait for the next 1:18 treasure to arrive! Jim Dolan

Hey Gary, Just wanted to drop you a line that I received the car today. Thanks for packaging it so well, and for marking it as $5 J Saved a lot of customs fees. Almost made it without a scratch. Just the camera pod and nose antenna popped off. Easy fix though. The wing stayed on fine as well. I just want to thank you for doing such an amazing job. It is beautiful. right down to the track map in the cockpit. the right side mirror is missing, and we have not been able to find it. there is a little bit of post that the mirror was attached to, but no mirror. Gary, Today I received My 2003 Ryan Hunter-Reay Surfers paradise car. First I must say that your fabrication skills and attention to the smallest details never cease to amaze me. The car is absolutely stunning in every respect and is by far the finest Champ Car conversion I have ever seen! The dark blueberry metallic paint is so deep you could dive into it and it contrast's so well with Graphics, white stripes and candy red. The accuracy of the Reynard chassis is by far the best I have seen and the fully detailed cockpit and the rain tires are the perfect touch.  This project took longer than either of us expected and the results speak for them self. Gary, Today my much anticipated Sebastien Bourdais / Team Centrix car arrived. Initially I wanted you to do this project because I thought the car was so sharp and I loved the lines of the Panoz / Gforce chassis. I was in no way prepared for just how sweet this car looks! You did a phenomenal job with the paint and graphics work, the fade of the blue from the front of the car onto the side pods is perfect! Also I must say that the carbon fiber detail around the fuel buckeye and other areas, the panel lines and the aero pieces you fabricated are fantastic. And last but not least is the driver figure. We decided to add him at the end and you as usual really stepped it up a notch and did a perfect job, the drink tube and full safety harness are great touches! Hello Gary, Stellar is an understatement for the car. From the paint to the body details and modifications to the cockpit, the car is sweet!! Even the markings on the tires. I am  fortunate enough to own a few cars in my collection. I have some Carousel1 models, some hand builts, and now my second Chapparrel.   Gary's cars run "wheel to wheel" with these cars. Since these models are not mass produced, they are the stars of my collection. The biggest compliment I can give Gary, is that his work gets better, and better, and better. Gary, I received the 2004 Michel Jourdain car today and words escape me on how to describe just how awesome it turned out! The paint and bodywork are unreal the car is totally accurate.  The attention to detail is far beyond what I have seen before, the detailed cockpit with drivers drink tube and safety harness, the small aero pieces you added to the front wing end planes, detail on the pop off valve and anodized rear axel just blew me away! This is by far and away the finest Champ car conversion I have seen.  I look forward to future projects we have talked about and cant wait for the next gem to arrive. This is now the nicest car in my collection and will be displayed with great pride.   As always it has been a pleasure working with you, keep up the fantastic work! Jim

Gary, What makes custom diecast cars so special is the fact that are unique 'one of' replicas. This baby absolutely fits the bill! The 'crystal' paint scheme has to be seen to be truly appreciated...absolutely beautiful. With each new creation, you 'up' the level of custom mods. An emergency pull pin...too much! As you know Gary, this car was originally commissioned for my wife (she has this thing for Dario!). Anyway...not gonna happen!! Congratulations and thank you for an awesome diecast! Lux

Gary, I got the car today and the pictures don't do it justice.  It's just awesome!  I have it sitting next to my Exoto C9 Mercedes and it makes it look like a toy.  I know some will jump, but your cars are truly replicas not models.  I can't wait for our other projects! Keep Bangin! Tirso

Gary, Just to let everyone know I received my 2000 Moore Penske today. The scanned photographs on this site do not do this car any Justice! Gary, I picked up my Tracy “03 Toronto Winner” & “04 Long Beach Winner” cars last night and I was truly blown away. Gary had done a 02 Tracy for me a while back that I thought was fantastic, but these new models are even better. Amazing details and accurate body work! UN-F**KING-BELIEVABLE!!!!!!!! I checked out the 03 Bourdais car while I was there....the digital steering wheel was amazing!!! Gary, your next mission will be having it actually light up! Hi Gary Saw some of your latest creations posted on the various message boards; awesome work as usual J Love that Playboy car! In the past few months since I got the Bourdais car, I must have had at least 20 of my Champcar friends come over and drool over it. Its mainly one of my good friends telling everyone he knows about it, then he brings them over J Its pretty funny! “Dan, John from work wants to see the Bourdais Diecast, see you Saturday” lol! I got a nice display cabinet for it (and some other cars). The Bourdais car really has become the talking point of my place. Everyone thinks it is just amazing, and generally stare at it for a long time. Always get asked where I got it and email them your website. Definitely have some more fans now. J Dan

Gary, It’s just great for me and surely for all your fans world-wide to hear that you really have fun again. Gary, your last creations, Servia first win and Ranger podium Mi-Jack, are awesome cars and OUTSTANDING jobs again. I can’t wait to see the first pics of the new line of Lolas conversions. The prototype pictures are already great. Gary, takes the time, which you need for the projects to you. Think also of your health and of your family. Mr. Chapparrel, You do truly the most amazing diecast work I have seen anywhere. Nowhere else can I find paint in the quality you make it. Although I closely follow the IndyCar Series, your work on the steeds of Champ Car drivers is impeccable in detail. Your attention to detail in all of your work is fine and of the best quality. Adam Note: Customer Adam Friedman requested that Chapparell's repair a shoddy conversion he purchased elsewhere of Alex Zanardi's Champ Car that completed the final 13 laps after his horrible accident in Germany...
